Could you be Magna Carta Primary Acadamy’s next Community Governor ?
Magna Carta LGB are looking for individuals with a passion for education and the success of the school to serve a 4 year term as Community Governor.
What does a Governor do? The purpose of the Local Governing Board (LGB) is to provide support and challenge to the school on behalf of the Trust Board. It does this through providing strategic direction at a local level, promoting high standards and educational achievement.
Commitment:
- 1 full LGB meeting per term
- 1 school visit per term
- Participation in special whole school events
- Annual Mandatory training
- An enhanced DBS is essential and will be
- applied for via the Academy
