High Lane to Close until October

High Lane to Close until October

Cadent roadworks will see High Lane close to traffic for 83 days at the end of July.

Essex County Council have issued a traffic order that will see High Lane close from where it meets with Cambridge Road and Grove Hill all the way up to the B1383 roundabout from Monday, July 29.

The “rolling closure” will see sections of the road on High Lane open to traffic for periods such the weekend evening and afternoons.

Pedestrian and resident access (and for Emergency Services) will be maintained along High Lane for the duration of the utility company’s work.

The licence to close the road runs for 18 months, but the work could be completed ahead of the 83-day period in the permit issued to Cadent by ECC.

See One Network’s highway map for details.
