The garden waste skip service, paused over the winter, should return to Lower Street carpark next month.
Dates for garden waste skip recycling in Stansted Mountfitchet have been issued by Uttlesford District Council.
The recent disruption to the authority’s regular refuse service has meant a delay in publishing the schedule in 2024.
Uttlesford also warn that though a skip should be present at the Lower Street Car park on Sunday, March 17th, this will be dependent on their usual recycling services returning to normal.
Garden Waste Skip in 2024
You will be able to recycle your garden waste in a skip (or recycling truck) that will be at Lower Street Car Park from 12.30 to 4.30pm on the following alternate Sundays in 2024:

Safety at the Carpark
The garden waste skip/truck is usually sited close to the skate park. Please be mindful and drive carefully when using this service given there are likely to be young people in the area at the time.
