Uttlesford Business Support Team are back in Stansted this Friday to get your business booming in 2024.
Andy Schmiedecke will be at the Mountfitchet Exchange – 10am to 1pm – to hold a second drop-in session in the village following the first event last month.
Uttlesford District Council’s business support officer will once again be on hand to help you apply for grants and point you in the direction of available business support and training opportunities.
What support is on offer?
The sessions’ main aim is to make it easier for businesses in Stansted to successfully access the district authority’s Business Start Up Grant, High Street Premises Enhancement Fund, and Low Carbon Workplace Grant.
- Businesses that have been trading for less than two years in Uttlesford can apply for for grants worth £500 to £2,500 under the Business Start Up Grant scheme.
- The High Street Premises Enhancement Fund helps businesses in Uttlesford by providing £500 to £5,000 grants to pay for the improvement or repair of their shop fronts.
- The Low Carbon Workplace Grant, meanwhile, offers £500-£5,000 grants to small and medium sized businesses in the district to reduce their carbon footprint.
