11 To Elect a Chair of the Committee
Both Cllrs Kavanagh and van de Bilt put themselves forward for the role. With 1 vote for Cllr Kavanagh and 7 votes for Cllr van de Bilt, it was
RESOLVED that Cllr van de Bilt be elected as Chair of the Open Spaces Committee for the Civic Year 2025/26.
12 To Elect a Vice-chair of the Committee
Cllr Hardy proposed Cllr Kavanagh, having been seconded by Cllr van de Bilt and with no other nominations, it was unanimously
RESOLVED that Cllr Kavanagh be elected as Vice-Chair of the Open Spaces Committee for the Civic Year 2025/26.
13 To Appoint the Tennis Club Representative
Cllr Barnes advised that he is happy to stay in this role. Having been proposed by Cllr Guney and seconded by Cllr Love, it was unanimously
RESOLVED that Cllr Barnes continue the role of the Tennis Club Representative
14 To Appoint the Parish Public Footpath Representative
Cllr Guney proposed to accept the kind offer from Bill Stiles to continue as the Parish Public Footpath Representative. This was seconded by Cllr Kavanagh and unanimously agreed.
15 To Appoint the Parish Tree Warden
The Deputy Clerk advised that we did advertise this position but no one came forward. Cllr van de Bilt proposed leaving this position vacant for now and it was unanimously agreed.
