Allan is an independent councillor representing Stansted North, with a keen interest in the environment and its impact on wellbeing.
Since retiring from a career in education he has been involved in the local U3A, serving as secretary to the Stansted group for just over three years.
Allan is married, has two adult sons and has lived here for more than 20 years.
