TouchPoint Sounds Needs You!

TouchPoint Sounds Needs You!

Can you help TouchPoint launch its latest project, a brand new community radio station in 2024?

Community organisation TouchPoint is preparing to launch an radio station and is looking for people of all ages and backgrounds to help them – both behind the scenes and in front of the mic!

TouchPoint hope that by building a station it will amplify local voices and foster a stronger sense of community.

TouchPoint Sounds will be a new, dynamic community radio initiative set to make its debut in early 2024, offering both live broadcasts and on-demand content over the internet.

The community group’s mission is to empower the residents of Uttlesford, enabling them to express their unique stories and passions, whether they revolve around music, local heritage, community activity, upcoming events, and much more.

Local community groups and organisations are invited to create and broadcast their own programmes providing entertainment and information about valuable local services.

Would you like to get involved?

You don’t need experience (although it’s always welcome), just an enthusiasm to participate and to learn as part of a team. TouchPoint are looking for volunteers who can help with:

Creating radio shows – DJs, presenters, interviewers, and journalists
  • Researching, contributions, and curation of recorded content
  • Production, technology and sound quality, and training
  • Scheduling, project management and administration
  • Marketing and promotion

To find out more, please fill in a contact form and someone from TouchPoint will get back to you as soon as possible.
