Preparations are underway for a deep ground penetrating survey to be undertaken at the Recreation ground
The grass at the Recreation Ground, off Chapel Hill, will get cut next week in preparation for the deep ground penetrating radar surveyThree quotes have now been received.
The date for the survey is dependent on which contractor is chosen, but we hope within the next 2 weeks
A decision on the contractor will be taken early next week, subject to references having been received; this week has been spent assessing tenders and validating contractor bona fides
This public space remains closed at this time
Once again, we remind residents to remain off the Rec until the survey results are with us and the ground has been declared safe for public use.
