Stansted Windmill Open Day

This is the last opportunity to visit Stansted’s grade II* listed Windmill until it reopens to the public in Spring 2024. The windmill is over 200 years old and is a classic example of a tower mill, which has much of its original machinery still in intact.

Children are welcome: they must be under adult supervision while visiting the Mill. The ground floor of the Mill is up two steps. Access to higher floors is by fixed ladders. For safety reasons, entry to upper floors for very young children is at the steward’s discretion, as is the total number upstairs at any one time. Admission £2 for adults, 50p for children.
