Uttlesford District Council’s annual canvas for the Electoral Register is underway. The local authority need your co-operation to ensure the register is correct. Not updating your information could make it difficult to vote in future elections, and possibly impact your credit rating.
The Electoral register is a list of the names and addresses of everyone who is registered to vote within Uttlesford’s electoral area. The new electoral register will be published on 1 December.
The district council has sent out emails and letters to residents asking them to contact the authority to let them know your present details on the register are correct, or to do so to provide them with up-to-date information.
