TouchPoint Stansted

Category: Services

This community hub was set up in 2021 and in two short year has entrenched itself at the heart of village life. Staffed by a committed band of volunteers TouchPoint runs a broad spectrum of services and activities for the community, both young and old residents alike.

TouchPoint Stansted Café: hot and cold drinks and snacks are served Thursdays 11am to 5pm, and Fridays from 10am to 12pm. Hot meals also served on Thursdays from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. Other than a place to catch up with friends, the Cafe also has community laptops to use and an opportunity to get advice from Citizens Advice.

TouchPoint Community Food Share: Supermarket food that would otherwise end up in land fill is offered for free to residents at the Stansted Mountfitchet Social Club (10-12 Lower Street, CM24 8LP) on Wednesdays from 2.15pm-3.15pm; and at the Day Centre on Thursdays (9am-10am), Fridays (1pm-2pm) and Saturdays (11am-12pm).

TouchPoint Teatime on Tuesdays: free hot meals at the Day Centre for pre-school and school-aged children, as well as their parents and carers.
