Let’s Talk, Stansted!

The community group behind the widely popular annual Walk to Rungis. Let’s Talk, Stansted is passionate about improving mental health and wellbeing in Stansted and the surrounding villages. We also run activity groups where people can meet, talk and share knowledge or skills in a safe space, free from judgement. The group have a team of ‘listeners’ who are ready and trained to offer a sympathetic and supportive ear to anyone who needs it.

Activities

Muddy Walkers: an informal group that meets for regular walks around the village and surrounding countryside. Walks set off from the Recreation Ground, Thursday nights 6.30pm (March to October).

Open Water Swimming: newly formed open swimming group. Sessions run by Jonathan Self, an open water wellbeing coach.

The Veg Shed: Serves to offer a fun, active and safe space for men of all ages to meet, work together and support each other while turning the soil down on Elms Farm Allotments. Sundays 10am to 1pm.
