Renovations lasting until the end of March will see the Day Centre close its doors temporarily from next Monday.
Work to expand the capacity of the Day Centre will mean that from 26th February, you will be unable to use or book the The Day Centre until its re-opening at the end of next month.
The good news is, however, that once the Day Centre on Chapel Hill is ready to welcome you back through its doors, it will have been fitted out with new toilets, improved kitchen facilities and better access to Crafton Green House.
Improved Community Services
The improvements will mean TouchPoint Stansted can expand the services it runs and the capacity of the building.
Currently the Day Centre operates as a base for the organisation to run community cafes, food shares, gardening clubs, cinema nights, and hot meals for the young and people in search of companionship or who may be struggling to navigate the cost of living crisis.
All clubs and organisations that hire the Day Centre have been advised to make alternative arrangements while the renovations are carried out.
Annual Parish Meeting
The closure also means the Annual Parish Meeting on Wednesday, 13th March will be held this year at the Mountfitchet Exchange.
