Chapel Hill will be shut for one night on Monday, 24th February.
The closure is to allow Essex Highways to complete resurfacing work left unfinished during the earlier closure of the road in February.
You will not be allowed to park or drive along Chapel Hill from the junction with Cambridge Road to the junction with Woodfields, where the roadworks are being carried out.
The closure will last from 8pm until 5am.
Restricted access
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained during the roadworks.
Essex Highways warn that though they will try and contact owners of cars left parked along Chapel Hill, if they can’t they will issue a penalty charge notice and remove such vehicles to a safe place.
Should you return to your property to find work underway, you will be asked to park elsewhere.
